Chew on this

Daniel Chew has on interesting back-to-back comparison and contrast between Turretin and Murray on the free offer of the gospel:

  1. Both Turretin and Owen lived through the Protestant Civil War over amyrauldianism. Which is maybe why their take on 1 Pet. 3 is contra Murray's universalist exegesis, never mind the Dutch Annotations on Matt. 23 or Calvin in his Treatise on Predestination regarding Ezek. 18/33, all of which are passages Murray appeals to for support of his version of the Free Offer.

Am surprised to see this guy going to Westminster West though. I like Clark, but I don't see him dealing with the objections to Murray though he keeps promoting him.
