  1. Steve, thanks for posting these. They're immensely fascinating, and a good addition to the NDE material that Jason Engwer has written about.

Also, I thoroughly enjoyed Dr. Beauregard's fine dismissal of Dr. PZ Myers.

  2. Thx for posting this. Interesting stuff. Myers needs to have a blissful NDE. I appreciate the continued interest in NDEs at this blog.

  3. The thing that has always bothered me about the NDE accounts is that given the truth of Christianity, why doesn't that come out more prominently? The researchers seem to make a point the many of the experiences are the same regardless of the belief system of the person. Why is it I never hear of NDEs where they come back reporting they have seen Jesus?

    1. Hm, who says NDEs aren't prominent in some societies or cultures?

    2. In Western society, this could be explained in part by a hostile secular environment against NDEs and the like.

    3. Luke 16:31 might be relevant.

    1. Maybe you're not familiar with the literature. You should check out the many posts on this very blog, for example.

    2. Speaking for myself, I've heard and read several reports where the individuals claimed to "have seen Jesus." Whether they're true or not is another matter.
