Alien life?

Physicist Rob Sheldon comments on the recently heralded "arsenic-based life" discovered in Mono Lake, California.

  4. And, sure enough, scarcely a week goes by and people have questioned the viability of the whole methodology as producing misleading results. If even researchers sympathetic to the idea that arsenate-based life are shooting down the viability of the findings that means that the case for strictly terrestrial life is still firm.
