HETA

There’s a direct correlation between the political and ecological philosophy of vegans, tree-huggers, and pacificators.

One of the best-known organizations is PETA, an acronym for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, which bills itself as the largest animal rights organization in the world.

But I think it’s high time that someone spoke up for natural rights of carnivorous insects and another meat-eaters up the food-chain.

There aren't many peaceniks in the animal kingdom, I'll tell you that!

Hence, I’m hereby forming HETA, an acronym for Hexapods for the Ethical Treatment of Mandibles.

This is a broad-based consortium of assassin bugs, bloodsuckers, wolf spiders, tiger beetles, and praying mantids.

Beefeaters of the animal world unite!
